PSD Fitz was born on October 22, 2013 in Innisfail, Alberta. His entire service was in Kelowna, BC working for the RCMP.
Fitz has been described as having a tenacious will and energy to work that was second to none. In the few short days before he suddenly passed, Fitz tracked and apprehended a suspect with numerous outstanding warrants. He also located a missing hiker lost in the backcountry of the Okanogan. During this time, he showed no symptoms of his terminal condition.
Fitz passed away on November 25, 2020. His service and dedication is truly appreciated and honored.
