Keg, Regimental #868

Keg was born in Prince Albert, Sask. in 2008. At the age of two, he was brought to the RCMP kennels for narcotic detection training. He graduated from training and teamed up with Cst. Pat Frenette as part of the “K” Division Roving Traffic Unit.

A few years later, Keg moved to Ft. McMurray to team up with an RCMP member at the Wood Buffalo Detachment to work the local highways. After a few years in Ft. McMurray, Keg changed handlers and began working out of Calgary Jetway where he retired from his career with the RCMP in 2016.

Keg now works in the private sector for Sniff It Out K9 Services. He is in good health and still detecting narcotics!
