Bronson, Regimental #875

Bronson. For many of us the name instantly conjures up images of the brawny and chiselled features of the actor we watched for some 40-plus years in countless western and action-packed films. And so it’s more than fitting that Bronson is also the moniker for Ned’s Wish’s newest member of the pack.

Bronson is a male German Shepherd who was born at the RCMP Police Dog Training Centre on November 1, 2009. Bronson worked with his RCMP partner for 7 years in Surrey, BC and Fort McMurray, AB. Bronson was responsible for many captures throughout his career and particularly enjoyed working with the Auto Theft crew. He was instrumental in saving the life of a hiker who had fallen into diabetic shock and was rendered unconscious. Bronson retired in 2018 and is currently living the good life between his home and his cabin!

Bronson is relentless with dropping his Kong in the laps of visitors and waiting for them to pay attention and play with him. His steely-eyed focus ensures that folks get the right idea and give him the attention that he just knows he deserves!

Bronson is dealing with several medical issues which are being treated with medications and regular visits to the vet. Ned’s Wish will be there to help ensure Bronson continues to enjoy his retirement to the fullest! Welcome to the pack Bronson!
