Retired PSD Dali has an adorable smile and a silly personality to match. Like most of her K-9 colleagues, Dali LOVES balls. With free access to as many balls as she likes, she has been known to walk laps around her yard, proudly displaying three balls popping out of all sides of her mouth.
PSD Dali was the very first FEMALE dog working for the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary. She spent her entire professional career working in the North East Avalon jurisdiction of Newfoundland and Labrador. On Christmas morning of 2020, Dali woke up with the paralysis of her left hind leg. She was diagnosed with the Intervertebral Disk Disease and had to undergo a spinal decompression surgery, after which, she retired. Since her surgery and during her recovery, Dali regained most of her mobility and despite some restrictions she is happily enjoying her retirement.
Dali was born on May 10, 2016 at the RCMP Police Dog Service Training Centre in Innisfail and retired in 2021 because of her medical condition.
