Retired PSD Eve loves chasing hockey pucks! Eve would have been a professional hockey player if it weren’t for her career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Eve worked out of Red Deer and responded to calls in central Alberta.
One of Eve’s biggest accomplishments during her career was finding a missing older gentleman, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. He was lost for several hours in a wooded area, but Eve was able to track and find him. Because of Eve’s superb nose, this gentleman was safely returned home.
Eve is a true Albertan, she was born on February 2, 2012 in Innisfail at the RCMP Police Dog Service Training Centre. Eve worked and retired in Red Deer, and she is now spending her time doing all the things that she loves. Right now, Eve is relatively healthy as long as she gets her daily thyroid medication and eye drops for Pannus, a condition that affects the cornea and the third eyelid of the eye.
