Ned’s Wish welcomes this blueberry loving hero of a pooch PSD Harp!
Harp was born at the Innisfail RCMP Kennels on August 26th, 2015. Harp began his career in Cold Lake, Alberta servicing the northeastern part of the province. Harp has been described as the ideal police service dog! His intense drive, focus and shear determination allowed him to track and apprehended 100’s of criminals during his career. If his success in apprehension was not enough, he saved his handler’s life on several occasions. During one of these incidents Harp was stabbed several times after tracking and apprehending a dangerous individual wanted for serious offences. Harp stayed in the fight refusing to give up. He remained engaged and was no doubt one of the reasons his handler and backup member went home safely that night.
Although Harp is intimidating and intense on duty, when he is off duty he loves to swim in the lake, relax in his yard, eat endless amounts of blueberries, and receive ample ear scratches. Even though Harp has slowed a bit with age, is a little tired and sore from the hard miles endured during his career. Harp still has lots of drive and energy left in the tank. Harp will be a loveable pain in the butt in retirement, where he can relax and focus on the important things in life… Blueberries.
Welcome to Ned’s Wish PSD Harp!!
