Hooch, Regimental #1029

Ned’s Wish welcomes to our ranks PSD Hooch!  Hooch tries to connect to his wildside by chasing coyotes in his spare time.  Unfortunately, the coyotes are too intimidated by this hero and don’t stick around to see that he just wants to play.

Hooch was born and raised in Alberta at the RCMP’s Innisfail Kennels and he served the first three years of his career in St. Paul, Alberta.  Hooch excelled at tracking and had numerous opportunities to follow perpetrators across many kilometers of beautiful prairie.  Those being chased might not have taken in the views!

Hooch and his handler were transferred to the busy Lower Mainland in BC, where Hooch served the remainder of his working life.  Hooch deployed with the RCMP Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team, with whom he had many memorable calls, including apprehending two armed robbery suspects who had been victimizing multiple establishments across the Lower Mainland.   When not chasing down bad guys, Hooch also carried out narcotics searches.

In his off time Hooch loves to swim.   Water is life, and Hooch loves it!  He will run to water every chance he can get.  Welcome to the family Hooch!
