After nearly a decade of serving the citizens of Calgary in General Patrol and Drug Detection PSD Piper is hanging up her leash. Piper was born on November 10, 2013 in the Czech Republic and moved to Canada to start her career. Piper first started with the Calgary Police Service as a General Patrol Dog, but given Piper’s overly social and loving demeanor, she was promoted to the Drug Detection Unit where she honed her nose and helped keep many significant finds off the streets. During her time with the Calgary Police Service Piper served with two different handlers.
After 9.5 years PSD Piper is ready to start her retirement journey with a clean bill of health. Piper will be filling her retirement with her stuffed animal friends, and chasing any bouncing ball that crosses her path.
Welcome to Ned’s Wish PSD Piper!!
