It is with profound sadness that we share with you the news of the passing of our fallen hero PSD Ejay #972. Ejay served for five years in Strathcona County before being posted in Lethbridge for his remaining career. Ejay was described by his family as a rock for them and will be dearly missed by us all.
From his Handler/Family
He was an amazing dog and we were so lucky to have him. I think of all the times on calls that we went on and all the good work he did it amazes me.
Getting to hang out with him during his retirement was an honor. He was always a rock for my family and I. He enjoyed picking on my sons lab and all his dog toys. He always was there when we left in the morning and greeted me everyday when I got home. He had slowed down quite a bit but was still so much fun for all of us.

There are way better words I can use to describe Ejay and I am not doing his memory justice. I feel like I have lost a limb and every day the pain doesn’t seem to fade. I miss him and love him.
The one photo of Ejay and Andy was a training day where Andy opened up the gate for Ejay’s Crate. It is a goofy pic of Ejay in the front seat looking guilty, I think. That was a fun day of training in Stony.
