Elvis, Regimental #963

Elvis, Regimental #963

PSD Elvis, Regimental # 963, joins Ned’s Wish family posthumously.  Elvis was not only a brave hero, but also a hilarious entertainer.  Every day, Elvis would chase the crows, causing havoc and laughter.  Elvis absolutely loved camping and tearing through the local hiking trails ❤️.

When it came to work, Elvis did not joke around.  Throughout his career, he tracked and found a number of lost people, even when a Search & Rescue crew had given up hope during difficult weather conditions.  Elvis’ tenaciousness, drive and exquisite nose helped reunite many missing people with their families.  In March 2019, Elvis bravely stared down the barrel of a rifle pointed at him and his human partner. Elvis barked until the bad guy lowered his gun and complied with his partner’s commands.

PSD Elvis was born on June 6, 2012 and he passed away on 13 September, 2022, leaving his family heartbroken.  Rest in Peace Brave Elvis.  Thank you for your service!

Tribute to Elvis

Our thoughts go out to Elvis’ family in Nova Scotia.  Rest in Peace Sweet Elvis!  Thank you for your service.   Elvis family shared this with the Ned’s Wish family: We were heartbroken today to say goodbye to our sweet Elvis following complications after emergency intestine surgery. Before he passed our family was able to gather and be with Elvis, so he was surrounded with love when he left us. Elvis was a much loved family member who brought a lot of joy (and hilarity!) to our lives.  Our family will always be grateful to Al Hamilton, Elvis’ handler who retired
