Bailey, TPS

Bailey, TPS

Ned’s Wish is excited to welcome Bailey to the pack!

Bailey is a 9 ½ year old German Shepherd who enjoyed an 8-year career as a General Purpose Dog with the Toronto Police Service. Bailey joined a new family for her retirement; the Parrish household is no stranger to working dogs, having recently said goodbye to their beloved PSD Cezar last year.

Now that she’s retired, Bailey enjoys sitting on the deck and guarding her property, occasionally barking out greetings to people and other dogs as they go by. She is getting along well with her new “brother”, an English Cream Golden Retriever by the name of Scout. Bailey and Scout go for daily walks on an isolated trail near home.

Bailey’s favourite part of retirement is getting dog treats, and she can usually be found guarding the treat jar. Bare floors give her a bit of a hard time, so she prefers to nap on an old rug. She also loves her Kong and enjoys kissing and snuggling up with her human sister.

The Parrish family is very grateful to Ned’s Wish for putting them in contact with the Toronto Police Service, and also very grateful to the Toronto Police Service for choosing them to be Bailey’s retirement home. They will take very good care of Bailey and we will be sure that she enjoys a long, healthy and happy retirement.

Welcome to Ned’s Wish, Bailey – we’re so glad you’re here!
